1975 Season
What a team it was, being coached by Wilbur Mills and Dick Skillman. We were the L.I. Champions. We were 17-0 during our regular season and were 24-0 after the playoffs. We played Babylon for the final chamionship game at Hofstra. It was by far the hardest game played all season and they were a very skilled and agressive team. We won 2-1 with Ed Eshmann scoring a penalty kick in the 4th quarter. I also wanted toadd that our first 9 games we were unscored upon. Tim Fehmel was our goalie, Leon Ringot , Steve Bornshine and Larry Zucharo were our defensive players, I was a midfielder along with Tom Harvey and Kenny Lynch. But we constantly played other positions when called upon. Our offense was powered by Paul Voight, Ed Mawmurasski, Ed Eshmann and Bruce Hemsley. Our coaching staff was strict when it came to our conditioning training, we were is such great shape that we simply out ran every team we played. It was a great time had by all. The support that we got from classmates, faculty and parents was always the best. We were the best and no team in Calhoun History has acheived what we did, win the big and win all of them............Thanks
